eye floaters

Has anyone else experienced these in pregnancy? I haven't had any swelling and my blood pressure is really low. I called my doctor and they never got back to me.

"Oh, squiggly line in my eye fluid. I see you lurking there on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye? Oh, squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven."

I got eye floaters before, during, and still after my pregnancy. But that's because i have an astigmatism. haha

I didn't know that that's what it was coming from! I had no idea! I told my mom a few days ago that I'd seen hairs and dots like float in my vision, I didn't know it was involved with pregnancy. Weird!

I have the same exact thing with perfect blood pressure.
I went to the eye doctor and my optic nerve heads are swollen I am hoping from the weight gain and pressure is what has caused this. It is completely fine unless you are having severe headaches or other symptoms with it. I recommend to have an eye appointment after you deliver the baby because they can't do anything for now. Hope that this helped I saw my normal eye doctor and specialists which they also recommend to not have eye appointments in pregnancy anyways.

Hm.  Well, you've tried to call your doctor.  That's really terrible they didn't get back to you.  I'd call again.  That is their duty to take your calls!  You 'could' always go to Krogers, Walgreens, Wal Mart or anywhere that has a bp cuff open to the public.  Just to check.

It could be nothing (or a little anxiety) but I associate that with pressure changes.  Are you having anything else go on besides that?  Once in a blue moon I see these in the shower and it isn't blood pressure I don't think.  But I guess I'd want to know what my doctor thought.  Sorry yours is not calling you back.  Grrrr

That's how I knew I was pregnant the second time around. Had it throughout my entire first pregnancy. Just a small bullseye shaped floater in my right eye. I never had preclampsia with my first and as far as I know I don't have it now.

I've had it but I don't have preeclampsia I think you just need more water that's all and if your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either And also Id call back to your office and let them know they never got back to you

Okay I looked it up! If it's like one small dark spot then yes, I've experienced that but my blood pressure is normal and no headaches or anything

Yeah I mean floaters it looks like hairs or dust in your eye that won't go away. It's supposed to be a sign of preeclampsia but I don't have any other symptoms.

Do you mean eye flutters? I experience that and muscle spasms. I just thought maybe I need potassium or either the baby is laying on nerves
