Home Birth

I have an appt with a midwife on the 31st but have been seeing an obgyn since my first ultrasound at 4 weeks. I'm 6w4d today and was wondering if anyone is planning a home birth. I need to make a decision soon because the midwife requires a deposit. I'm worried since this is my first pregnancy that it might be harder and more painful than I think. I'm scared if I choose delivering at home I might find it too hard and not be able to handle it. Anyone been through this?

Im doing a home birth and this is my first baby and im 17. I think itll be hard but i want to be able to just stay home and rest. Plus i dont really want a hospitial expierence. Im doing a water birth but i think in the end its totally worth it! Midwifes are way better than regular doctors(well atleast too me) its nice to be able to call whenever no matter what time. You could see a regular doctor and the midwife to see which you feel most comfortable with. Good luck (:
