Delivery story :)

I had my son at 3:41am this morning. He weighed 8lbs 13oz. I was a little overdue so I went to the hospital to be induced. I arrived at 730 a and they broke my water at 1030am. About 2hrs after I started getting menstrual feeling cramps and then contractions quickly followed. They contractions definitely hurt but we're barable. With the pitocin I was having contractions every 2 minutes. I asked for the epidural because I knew I would not be getting in right away. I was told the aneastiogist would be about 30mins to I wanted to go pee before I couldn't move anymore. I went to wash my hands after and a huge gush of water came out I guess it was the last of it. Immediately after my contractions went from barable to excruciating. Finally the aneastiogist got there after 2hrs. The epidural wasn't that bad it was sitting still through contractions while getting it done that was terrible. About ten minutes after I was in heaven. The epidural is a wonderful thing. I reached 10cms around 1am and pushed for 2 1/2 hrs. It was either c section or try forceps. I did forceps. The gave me an episotomy and after about three big pushes he came. I ended up taring through my perineum as well. The longest part was then seeing me up. It sucked. I felt tugging and a little bit of the sewing. Not pain but uncomfortable. Took about 30mins. Anyways now we have a beautiful baby boy and I'm so in love :)
