Diapers!!???!!!

I am 19 weeks and have been thinking on what kind of diapers to use. I was thinking on Pampers but my husband wants to use more of a generic brand like up and up or parents choice to save money since diapers r so expensive. What r some of ur opinions on what kind of diapers to use? What is a good brand? Is generic ok or u get what u pay for?

Please help!!!

Luvs worked great on my daughter, and they are cheaper than pampers or huggies. Walmart brand was ok most of the time, but it really depends on your baby.

I think I've tried every generic brand around & they all are awful. They leak & usually cause a rash. I like luvs. They are less expensive & I've never had any issues with rash or leaking.

I used huggies for my son but only the kind that are in the darker package not the ones in the package that is mostly white they use to be called huggies supreme. Those were the only ones that didnt break him out and we used pampers sensative wipes. So with this baby i am getting the same. I have been in child care for a long time so changed many many diapers and huggies seem to be the best. Pampers seem to leak out the stuff that absorbes the pee and that drives me crazy! The off brands never really hold up that great either. But some people would argue with it and say they omly used off brand and it worked great. You can always just start with cheap kind and if it doesnt work then change

We tried a generic brand on my son and he got a super bad rash, some kids don't do well with generic brands, I LOVE huggies, I've never had a leak with them because they fit so great, and my daughter's had a few good blow outs haha. It all depends on your baby, you'll find what works best for you.

My boyfriend has two older children and says pampers are the best. He also mentioned huggies are known more to give the baby a rash. Idk if that's true or was just true for his kids though

It honestly depends on your baby! Some will break out with certain brands so I really wouldn't stock up on one brand in particular for that reason alone. I believe its best to get a few different types to see which suits your baby the best. Good luck!
