My Dr also told me that old blood can take up to 2 weeks to leave your body. So, who knows really. I wish you the best.
The day after I found out I was pregnant I had brownish-pink blob of discharge, I thought it was a clot and that I was going to miscarry again, went to my doctors and she said it appeared to be old blood for the implantation that was only coming out now. I'm currently going to be 16 weeks pregnant so I guess she was right!!!
I didn't mean it was implantation bleeding - I know that would occur before the positive pregnancy test. I just meant that baby growing in there can cause that. As baby grows - it implants more. Sorry if you misunderstood that.
Implantation bleeding occurs before you would get a positive pregnancy test. Mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy but you should not be in any severe pain or doubling over. Also, minor spotting is not always a good thing but can be normal aswell. If the spotting becomes bright red, heavy or the cramps get stronger, I would go to the ER just to get checked.
Discharge and cramping can be normal in early pregnancy and most likely caused by baby implanting and making itself comfortable in there. If the cramps become painful and your start having heavier bleeding then it points to miscarriage. If you're concerned then see your doctor, otherwise it all sounds normal to me.
thats usually normal from what i've heard.. But if ur really concern u should call an advice nurse... hopefully everything is ok, good luck and congrats
