Shared Nursery Ideas

I have a beautiful daughter who will be  2 next month. I am due to have a little man on May 26th. :) I am so excited!
With that being said, once the little man moves out of his bassinet, he and my daughter will be sharing a room. I am going to totally redo their room (it needs new carpet and paint anyway), and I was wondering how to decorate. I don't really like the "split room" idea, because they will be pretty close in age, so I'm trying to come up with a theme that is both fun and gender neutral. I think I might go with a classic Mickey and Minnie theme... Paint the walls a dove grey color and then throw in blacks, reds and a little yellow in the decor. My daughter is in love with Minnie! But, what do you guys think? Anyone else out there planning a shared nursery for both genders? If so, how are you gonna decorate? I'm open for any ideas.

My two year old girl and my little boy week be sharing a room. However, I never decorated for my girl and don't plan to for our boy. I've never been much of a decorator lol.

I have a daughter who will b 5 this yr n I'm pregnant with my 2nd daughter I'm doing the same thing sharing and splitting the room. I've decided to do a safari theme I'm doing elephants for the new baby and my daughter is madly in love with giraffes so in going to decorate it to what she wants for her things n how I want for the babu so it matches but she will be happy at the same time with the change

If your daughter loves Minnie I would stick with that idea because Mickey is easy to find nursery decor for
If I personally had to do a nursery shared theme I would do under the sea! I love it and such cute stuff for boy or girl :)

I was pregnant with twins (boy/girl). I did their room in a jungle theme. Green paint and brown carpet.

My son's room is Case IH and if this baby is a girl, we will probably keep it that way lol my husband keeps telling me tractors are gender neutral, and he worked hard on his room so he doesn't want to change it, he's a goob lol
