I'm 6 weeks pregnant, just found out yesterday when I went to the ER for a severe caugh leaving me to throw up and chest pain. The doctor told me he was unable to give me anything to sooth the caugh and to ride it through because I'm only in my first trimester. I'm on my second child now, and I'm worried about what I can take so I can still keep up with my 2 year old daughter as well as ease the caugh and stop throwing up. I'm worried about having a miscairage or deforming my baby. Please help!

You can take tylenol. Your ob will  give you a list of meds to help. But drink plenty fluids..

Drink tea, and see your regular ob-gyn to be sure there is no bacterial issue going on (like an infection).
