Super Confused!

Hi guys, super confused about whats going on with my body right now, looking for some advice.

Last period started 19th September.

I had unprotected sex twice during fertile period.

Period was due 20th October. My body is like clockwork I am NEVER late. Its been a week and still no AF.

I have very mild cramps, lower back pain (which is new?) and slightly tender boobs but no other symptoms. Usually a week before my period I have brown/pink spotting but nothing - only a very thick creamy white discharge.

Took a pregnancy test yesterday (6 days late), morning urine, and it showed up NEGATIVE. Really disappointing as since I'm so late wouldn't it be guaranteed to show up positive by now?

Is there a chance I could still be pregnant or is something else going on. It feels like my period is on its way with these mild cramps but other than that no signs.

Look forward to reading some insightful replies

You could ask your doctor for a blood test .

I was a week late too, they told me those tests aren't always accurate. Yes waiting is hard, and then if your test comes back positive its 9 months of waiting lol but its all worth it. I was also really crampy and that lasted about 12 weeks so it may be a good sign that u are pregnant

Thanks so much for your reply! How late were you when you first went to the doctor? Im going to wait another few days.. its torture wondering if these cramps are a sign of AF or something else... Nothing else in my life has changed so very unusual to be late.

I had the same experience so i went to my dr and they did a urine test which showed up negitive too. I had been pregnant before (miscarried) so i knew something was going on. I bought two tests from the chemist and took them 2 days later and they where both positive and sure enough now im 29 weeks pregnant with a healthy little boy. Trust ur instinct. Wait a couple of days and try again.
