Drug free birth.

Hello, I am 18 years of age.
Pregnant with my first child(baby girl). I am 23 weeks and 5 days.
I am planning on having my baby natural and drug free. My mom had c-sections with my sibling and I. So of course she cant let me in on what I am going to go through, lol. I am kind of scared of not knowing the pain I am gonna feel throughout labor. I just wanna be prepared, I wanted to ask Mom's who have already had experience on tips of how to prepare for natural birth and exercises that I should do now throughout my pregnancy to prepare me for labor. I do walk about 1 hour a week. Also tips coping with the pain/contractions. Any advice will help :)

I had a natural birth. I walked thats all i pretty much did. During labor i would inhale keep it in for 5 sec and exhale thru every contraction. Dont start pushing until the dr tell you to or you could get a bad tare. The contractions are gna hurt. I started pushing when i was 9 1/2cm opened. The first two pushes burned a little. When my baby was coming out it didnt hurt.

I'm 18 years old too with my first baby (girl) and I'm 25 weeks almost 26 weeks. I'm going to do a natural birth like you with no drugs. My boyfriends family tells me that I should walk a lot a lot because it will make it easier. My family tells me the same to walk a lot especially when your closer to your due date. Also breathing is the key that's what I've been getting told too but mainly walking a lot and I'm going to try some pelvic exercises like in the first comment and I've been doing some prenatal yoga everyday too

Well i gave birth naturally and breathing techniques was all i did. I would just breath thru them. When u are in the middle of a contraction there isn't much u can do. It's painful but as soon as baby came out it was over. All the pain was gone. The placenta part hurts a little but not as bad as the baby coming out. I didn't rip or tare didn't need stitches and was able to go home in 24 hrs.

My mom told me this listen it works my sister and sister in law did to had natural births and it works! When u start getting contrations get mad like think of everything that people did to u.n get mad or u will lose it.ur blood pressure falls n u feel weak and if u get weak.u wont be able to push when u get mad ur adrenaline rushes all over ur body and u gain control after that everytine u feel a contraction push.little by little the baby will help u open up push! Ok and the process will be faster do little.pushes ok and in no timr u will have guven birth also.do not not let them check u so.often they can give u and infection. Also.get the bag where u can pee i cant remember the name but its a bag that has a tube they stick.in ur vj so u can pee. Get that trust me it will be easier

Keep walking, pelvic floor exercises, and breathing techniques. Write out a birth plan and give it to your OB but be prepared for things to change at a moment's notice.
