Eating and Labor

Even though I'm not in labor just wanted to know.
Can you eat while in labor?
( I'm severely anemic)

My hospital gives you ice but even drinking water will make you throw up during labor.

I could ice the whole time, also water even though you're really not supposed to with the epidural... But I'd eat while in early labor before you get to the hospital. I could eat up until they gave me my epidural!

I believe my iron is at a 9. They let me have ice.

Well I'm severely anemic, iron is at 5-6 all the time. So would I be able to have ice?

Well in my first they did bring me food amd said at least i have to eat a bit to keep me going but i cpuldnt eat nothing i couldnt keep anything down

They let you have ice.

I'm anemic too. Listen to them when they tell you not to eat or drink. I was so thirsty when I was in labor with my first so I took a couple drinks of water and it made me sick, to where I threw up.

I don't think so, I know dey might let u have little things like ice n Popsicles.
