has anyone heard about the eclipse going on today?? Should I be worried??
And as a ftm you have enough things to deal with and worry about without adding stupid legends onto your list
The myth is that during an exclipse you are supposed to wear metal to protect your baby from having a cleft pallet.... It's a load of bs. It's genetics that cause cleft pallets not astronomicle phenomena
Lmao, omg I am Mexican and as soon as my mom found out there was an eclipse she tied a red ribbon around my tummy. I guess its believed that during a solar eclipse its bad for pregnant women you have to tie something red around your tummy or else your baby can come out with physical problems or something. Its my culture I guess Lol so I went along with it.
IM A FTM I just think it's funny when people believe stuff like this.. like the myans and stuff

I'd be more worried about the scientifically proven mental/emotional/psychological side effects of the recent geomagnetical storm over the past week then a simple eclipse.
God is giving the World signs showing that He is coming back, if you have Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior you have nothing to fear, everything that the Bible has foretold is coming to pass. Be born again and repent, the King is coming, plus we have a blood moon on April 4th, The Bible has foretold about blood moons
Lol I believe things like this can make your body go into labor. Ive seen animals and people go into labor on full moons and solar eclipse. Its an atmosphere thing amd pressure thing. :) but that is just me.
I was kinda worried today. Do you have to stay in all day or just when it's happening.
It wasn't even visible in North America and it was over by 6am Eastern time zone so I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about it.
Wear something red for the rest of the day. one of my friend's mom went outside to see the eclipse and now my friends has a big red mark around his mouth, if you want to make sure try not to go out
Why would you be worried? I don't understand your question? It's been over for about 3 hours now anyway.
