I had an AMAZING experience with an epidural! I will definitely have it with this one!

A nurse will usually have you hold onto her in the process. In all honesty, if you're in a ton of pain the epidural is a cake walk and a god send. It's quick and fairly painless. I've had two, but I plain on an all natural birth this time around, including not being induced!

Honestly it feels like a regular shot u would get to me. Except its in ur back. My contractions hurt so bad that i didnt even feel it go in because i was so distracted from contractions. It looks a lot worse than it really is. Youll be okay. Try not to stress about it. Take care.

Yes, I agree, it was not difficult at all.  They sit you on the edge of the bed and the anesthesiologist is behind you so you don't see anything and don't jump because it happens very quickly. It really didn't hurt bad at all.  good luck

It was very easy! I do not like long needles but I couldn't handle 3 days of long labor so I did it anyway. It was a life savor_!

It's super easy! I felt a punch and a slight sting from the lidocaine and then it was easy as pie after that!! Although usually it's in an IV drip now so it stays in your back throughout your whole labor and delivery!
