FTM Labor Stories!

Tell me yours. :) Now that I'm nearing my due date I love to hear other people's labor stories!

How far along were you when you delivered? First signs of labor? How long did it take? Natural or not? Did the baby come on their own or did you try to help labor along?

At 37+6 I had about 10 contractions that day I had been using epo for a couple weeks. So that night I took castor oil at 4am I woke up with contractions at 530am I started timing them they were 2-3 minutes apart. I got the poops(not too awful) cleaned out and had my bloody show by 630am. I walked around the house ate breakfast took a shower got the last of my stuff ready. My fiance was at work so I had my dad take me in. It was 930am when I got to the hospital I was already a 5 so I called my fiance to get there. At 10 30 I was already a 7 and my fiance showed up. At 11am they broke my water and 1123 my son was born all natural at exactly 38 weeks thanks to Castor oil. Everything was amazing my contractions didn't hurt that bad until the last 30 minutes so it was amazing. All natural was empowering and amazing.

I was 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant when I had my baby. I was scheduled to be induced at my doctors appointment on Wednesday October 15 and I told them that I was having some pains in my lower abdomen. They checked me and I was 3cm and I was scheduled to be induced Friday the 17. When I got home I started to do some last minute things and then at 10:22pm I started to track my "pains" & they were 5 minutes apart at first then they started to get closer. I'm at FTM so I called the hospital to see if I should go in. Sure enough when I got there I was already 6cm! Labor began to get relatively painful and I asked for an epidural and didn't receive it until I was 8.5 cm, crazy right? Then after a short nap later I pushed for a good 30minutes and he was here :)

I had him at 38 weeks. I had contractions for 2 days but they stopped when I slept. Next day my waters broke and I was in labour 3hrs 20mins :) I had a really bad back labour though :( he came naturally, just gas and air :) I didn't try to induce myself at all :)

I had felt like I had to poop so I went to the bathroom to try and nothing. So I layed back down and that pain started getting worse. I went to the Er and I was 4 centimeters dialated. I had been walking on the treadmill. I was 3 weeks when I had my child. They broke my water at 6 centimeters and i was in labor for 8 hours and pushed him out with 4 pushes. (: good luck
