My son was born at 37weeks and due to the fact that i had Gd and had undergone a lot of stress he was very small at birth. Not even 2kg. Am breastfeeding him exclu and is taking weight as he should. He is absolutely fine.
I bottle fed and my kids don't get sick very often. I was bottle fed and I get sick maybe twice a year if that even. I think a lot of research and thought should go into the choice to breastfeed or formula. I just don't feel comfortable breastfeeding , and with having csections I rather not
Breastfeeding is actually scientifically proven to boost baby's immune system.
I haven't noticed that breastfed babies are sick more. I never had that problem with my first. That is an interesting observation. I wonder if it has to do with the antibodies that are being passed from mom to baby by the breastmilk.
A lot of Times its what you eat that can give your baby major poop. I breastfed my son till he was 15 months and he only got sick once during the winter and he got it from my dad. Aside from that he ate and pooped as should. They only time he pooped badly was when I ate something not good. Like hot cheetos or something spicy, fatty.
Breast feeding is actually a lot healthier for you and the baby. It's proven that if you breast feed your less likely to get breast cancer and there are all kinds of diseases that your baby is less likely to get if you breast feed. Formula can cause problems with the baby stomach. I seen that, my cousins baby had to have surgery at 2 months because of what the formula did to him. Both have cons but in the long run breast feeding is cheaper and healthier for both of you.
Thanks for commenting I think that one of the main things that push me back from breast feeding ..
I did formula for my son and planing to do the same with the next. I do see a lot of babies that are breast feed is Alot sicker.
