False positive HIV screening ...
Has anyone else ever experienced a false positive HIV screening before? All of the actual tests came back negative and I'm not at risk for being exposed so it was a total shock for me when my Dr said my screening was positive. I'm relieved to know I don't have it but I don't understand how you can have a false positive screening but a negative test result!
I've actually heard of this being possible thats y the run other tests to confirm if you do get a positive screening. . I have no clue how this happens though glad everything went well with you
No, but that sounds terrifying. Glad your results came back actually negative. :)
Maybe the lab contaminated your test on accident?
