I have had one induced labor and one emergency c section. I have not feared labor until now. I am pregnant with baby #3 and I have this overwhelming fear I won't survive it. Has anyone else delt with this fear before? If so, how did you cope?

Hi there.  I'm sorry you are feeling this way.  I think it is normal to be anxious and nervous before giving birth even if we've been through it before.  After we have kids, we almost feel like we have more to lose if something goes wrong.  That's understandable.  And if you had an emergency C section, that means you've been through an episode where things didn't go as planned.  This, by the way, does NOT mean that it will happen again.  Skilled nursing staff and doctors are fantastic on these OB wings of the hospital and will help you through.

Now, if your anxiety is getting intense and the fear is feeling almost panicked, you should talk to your doctor about that.  Hormones can put us in a state that a doctor should help with or at the very least, they can reassure you or be aware of how your are feeling.

Wishing you all the best!
