I agree - definitely talk with your doctor. However, sexual differentiation happens a bit later in pregnancy, I believe - another month or so. I don't know the ins and outs of dhea, but while I waited to talk with my doctor, I'd be reminding myself of that fact to help me stay calm. Good luck!
I would still think your doctor is the one to contact. I'm sure there are factors to consider that us (non doctors) would just not know. For example, your doseage and when the sex organs or other organs that can possibly become affected are developing. I would trust my doctors advice for that sensitive information. Also, I would ask if it would benefit you to ask when it would be good to have a gender scan if it affects that. Sometimes if they are done a little too early it is difficult to say with certainty what the gender is without taking DHEA. Wishing you and baby the best!
Thanks for your response. I read in an article that increase in testosterone may affect baby's sex organ growth. Especially if it is female child , like an extra male organ may also grow. That's y Iam very much worried. Can anyone clear my doubt if evaserve tablet can increase testosterone levels in high
That would be an excellent question for your OB. I am not sure if DHEA would pose a problem. Please give them a call to ease your worries.
Congrats on your pregnancy!!
