I was just about to say, the more sick you are usually means girl. Usually! I think it is different for each woman. Since you didn't really get sick with DS maybe that means the more sick YOU are means girl.
So what do you think little one is?
I heard that too but with my last SON I was so unbelievably sick. I heard a faster heart rate, baby laying low, more sickness, etc. means you're having a girl and I had all that with my last and he was a boy. I have a friend with the same problems who had a boy and a sister in law with the same problems who had a boy. It's just wives tales. But sometimes it just happens. You feel sick more often and it's worse with one baby than another. I really can't keep down friuts either. I get sick when I try to eat any kind of fruit. I don't think it means your baby won't be as healthy or anything like that. If you crave carbs then eat them. I was always told, not by doctors but just other people, that if you're craving something that means there is a nutrient in that food that your body needs or is lacking. So by all means eat the carbs. If you can't stomach the fruits don't worry about trying to choke them down. You'll be alright if you remember to take your vitamins and eat other foods with the same nutrients and vitamins that are in fruits.
My first pregnancy I was not sick at all and it was a girl... ;)
Every pregnancy is different. Unfortunately, there is no correlation between morning sickness and gender of baby - it all depends on how your body processes HCG during a particular pregnancy.
I think I'll have a boy this time around - but then again, I thought I was having a girl for the first 2 trimesters of my last pregnancy...and DS is proof that I was wrong ;-) We never found out the gender last time but I think DH and I are decided that we WILL this time. I don't regret not finding out the first time - it was the most wonderful surprise! - but, for practical reasons, I think we want to know this time.
I think I can see myself with 2 boys because I'm already used to having a son. But I'd love a girl, too :-)
