Babies definitely run out of room and stop moving as much! They can't really "make space" no they won't stop growing or get hurt from running out of room, but there definitely is not an infinite amount of space in your uterus! Lol. Usually you'll be able to tell when the baby moves a little less and it's not longer kicks you really feel but more rolling around. When my son was running out of space I could feel him almost like resting under my rib cage and it was extremely uncomfortable!

Lol i know i cant wait also. Im sure hes five pounds now although he's measuring perfect 35 weeks at 35. When i was 32 weeks he was three pounds and when people see me they say... "i dont think he will make it until due date, he might come early."

My son ran out of space at 38 weeks. My doctor said with me being so skinny he'll run out of room before 39 weeks and I'll be complaining of knots and pains in my sides, my back and my stomach. So your baby could have ran out of room. And if baby is making you uncomfortable they are trying to get comfortable. And i had my baby at 39.6 weeks

I never said I was a genius at having kids. I'm studying to be a doula so I like to give educated answers. The jabs you are feeling is from your baby moving/stretching. As your baby grows your body does too.

I think it's in the movements my baby jerks more now as if he can not stretch like he wants to. But I'm only 34+6 but my baby it's pretty big.

Sigh... okayyy so then what do you call it cause i actually looked it up and once the baby has less space it stays in one position and starts jabbing/ kicking / punching things it cause pressure and so on .. and also the baby comes out more.... so what to you call it since your a genius at having kids

There is no such thing as running out of space. If your baby needs room your body will make room.

So there's an assumption of them running out of space in there so hopefully it mean labor is near for us congrats ladies we're almost there

I'm 37w+5d too and yesterday I actually called labor and delivery because I was so worried about baby not moving. Right as I was about to go get him checked he starting jabbing my ribs. Ever since then his movements have been subtle, but consistent.

I'm 37+5 too, but when the kicks turn to jabs you know they're getting cramped up, that's all I get anymore is jabs in my ribs and sides
