I would soak my feet in salt water (Epson salt)
I feel ya. I had my baby shower today in 103° weather. Was on my feet all day. They are so swollen and the skin feels so tight that it hurts. Im 36 Weeks. I ran cold water over them at first, and now i have them elevated. hope they go down soon, its so sore :/
Mine swelled up so bad, it actually did split open. Right under my pinky toe. I try to rub them to get the circulation going, use ice packs, soak them in cold water and if I am outside and let the boys play in the water, I'll turn the hose on my feet.
Oh yes mine did that so bad with my son and I can tell they are gonna be the same this time...I tend to carry a lot of fluid so I swell for no damn reason :/
I've been dealing with EXTREMELY swollen feet since about 35 weeks .. I'm now 39 and OVER IT. I can't even wear shoes.. flip flops .. nothing. I have to wear xl slippers its ridiculous. and they're ALWAYS swollen no matter what I do.. I don't even stay on my feet a lot and I always have them up. its so painful. have someone rub your feet.. I know I'm retaining water and a lot of it is in my feet and they get rock hard. if u rub them until they get soft the swelling usually goes down .. also put them up but elevate them above your heart.. otherwise it doesn't really make a difference..
My feet have been swelling bad since I was 20 weeks and I am now almost 35wks. It usually takes my feet two - three days to get the swelling down after one day of over doing it. Having my husband rub them hurts but it does help.
i have an aloe foot scrub that i scrub my feet with :) i use cold.water then j lay on the bzthroom floor with my feet under the focet under cold water so they're up. it helps a lot.
Coconut water is amazing for swelling! I drink it when I am working all day and I go home and my feet look normal. Its great!
