1st appt 3/29

greetings.....
So my first prenatal check up is on Thursday and i'm nervous because I don't know what to expect,I have insurance but don't know if the appt its different from the mothers who have medical

They might wait until your second appointment before doing the u/s just because it stinks only seeing a bubble and thinking "OMG SOMETHING IS WRONG!!" But nothing is wrong,  it's just too early lol.  Happened to me twice!! Both pregnancies!

Thank you momma bear! I want am ultra sound for my piece of mind. Its my first pregnancy and im praying everything is well with my baby. I try to be optimistic but its hard because I know anything can happen

Yeah a lot of bloodwork, etc. and they'll take a medical history and weigh you. They might give you an ultrasound to date the pregnancy, or they might wait on that...it's a good opportunity to ask whatever questions you might have on what you can/can't do in the first trimester. Overall, not a scary, experience, I promise. :)

Usually first appointments cover your medical history, some bloodwork,  urine test, pap smear, nothing really exciting.
