Fetal age

I'm not sure if my doctor is going by fetal age but I'm so confused!  can someone help me estimate conception.. I'm about 9 weeks & 5 days today. Estimated due date is 10/6. Lmp is 12/26. I just wanna know ESTIMATED if my doctor is going by fetal age instead of LmP since my doctor takes measurements about when I conceived?? Some said doctors use lmp when dating how far along you are and some said they measure the baby to get how far along you are.. So if that's the case it's not going by lmp? Thanks!!

Also, there is this handy thing called a calender that does require some basic counting skills however, you could just count backwards and find the date they are using.

How many times are you going to ask this question today?? Why don't you just call your doctor and ask them directly if you don't believe the people on here???

Doctors go by LMP unless you had a dating ultrasound sometime before 12 weeks where they measure the size of the baby and that tells them how far along you really are.  They become less accurate after that. For me, my LMP was off by 6 weeks (I was still breastfeeding and skipped a period) so they said I was 10 weeks but was actually only 4 when I found out. I kept track of when we had sex though so I knew our conception date.
