you can try getting onto your states medicare if you can't afford insurance. If you quality they should pay for all your appointments, l&d, prescriptions and the baby will go on it as soon as he/she is born.
This will be the only pregnany that I didn't have a state medical card to pay for everything with.
Congratz on your pregnancy! Im not to sure about the insureance thing! i was taken out of work at 24 weeks due to preterm labor and my DH insurance did not kick in until months after my due date so I got medicaid! Good Luck
Congrats! May is a good month :D (my birthday is may 19th.)
I applied for badgercare (thats what its called in wisconsin) but its Medicaid or Medical Assistance, Every state has it and if you are pregnant and meet the guidelines they will pay 100% of your doctors visits. I have primary insurance through my work, then Medicare will pick up whatever my primary insurance doesn't pay. You need to go to Social Services to apply I think, But if you get a free pregnancy test done at a Planned Parenthood and ask them about it they can automatically enroll you (at least they do in Wisconsin.) Well good luck with the insurance and heres to a healthy happy 9 months!
