Recently I've been coming to term that I'm bring another person into the world, and I'll be responsible for this person emotionally, spiritually and financially. My boyfriend live together and we both work full time jobs, so wre more than capable of caring for a child. But I feel like he hasn't mentally realized that his spending habits can't be the same. It's not like I want him to just not spend any money, but I do have dr bills that are already starting to come in. I've asked him to pay some of the bills and he said he was fine with that, but nothing has been offered. On top of that he just been talking non stop about these cyber Monday deals that he's gonna take advantage of. And he keeps adding what I was for Xmas. I can honestly care less about either. I like nice things but I'm not 100% materialist. I just wish he understood where I'm coming from. He says things like for my parents to be so weathly I have poor spending habits. I'm just aware of my spending and my needs verses my wants. Can anyone else relate?

I understand where ur coming from. My bf just spent around 399 for a new phone and case. I was pissed bc we still need things for our daughter. After i went off on him and after i cooled down we talked and he's starting to see things.from my point of view. Try sitting ur bf down and explaining how u feel and where ur coming from. It may help him see things differently

Men are ridiculous you ladies are right and need to remember that you can do bad on your own a man that is spending senselessly and doeant show a change in manner tells you he doest care me and m. Fiamce have an arguement like this about ciggerettes i want him to stop or slpw down on his in take on them because we are becomong parents he has made a change and slowed how often he smokes a cigg he keeps them longer now which helps us financially and all of us health wise

Yeh my boyfriend turns 21 next month and he talking about this vacation he wants us to one and I've already taken the time off for work but that was before I knew I was pregnant. It's like my mind switched over and his is still in the sans place. I just don't know what I'm going to do.

I relate so much, my babies father is 21 and he doesnt understand, he says 'everybody elses girlfriends leave them go out and drink ehy cant i' well see theres a difference you have a baby on the way?? So its now gone to the point were he has walked out and turned his back because aparently i throw tantrums. Maybe a bit of patients would of helped but when does he finallyy realise??
