First OBGYN Appointment.. After Ultrasound??

Okay so, at 11 weeks 6 days I had my first Ultrasound.
But I haven't had my first prenatal appointment yet,
I have it today, at 15 weeks at 4:15pm??...

Has anyone else had this. I heard they need confirmation..
I haven't been confirmed, but I'd assume the ultrasound would be
confirmation of my pregnancy, cause the Baby is clearly there
with a fluttering heart beart, toes, fingers, ect.

I'm a little nervous for my first appointment
anything I should get prepared for ladies?? :)

My office appt. is after my U/S as well, depending on how far along they'll weigh, pap smear, pelvic exam, listen to the H/B on doppler, etc. My OB does a full exam, breasts too. My last OB was pretty rude, had TERRIBLE bed side manners, and I didn't like him too much to be honest, but he was the closest when my husband worked out of town all week, and he ended up being AMAZING in labor! I ended up with an emergency c-section, they lost my sons H/B and if it weren't for him rushing people around, my son wouldn't have made it, so trust your instincts! Good luck!

and well I think they may do a breast exam if they ask about fam history.
my grandma passed away from Breast Cancer. And cancer is in my family. But I'll just have to see.

and I am a bit nervous ! I've heard some things about my OB. If I'm uncomfortable with him can I switch.. ? I just heard he resorts to C-Sections over everything.. My friend had him and switched to a midwife cause he was apparently disrespectful due to her age..

They will do a pap smear and blood work. I dont know about breast, as my Dr doesn't do that. Don't be nervous! :)

Well i'm 15 weeks.. so do you think they'd let me hear the heart beat?
again, first appointment, I'm just meeting my OB ?
i heard they may do a breast exam an pap too but would that be today ??

They prob already have all your result and will go over that and maybe use a Doppler to listen to the babies heart beat.  Some wait to use the Doppler some do it around 14 weeks so don't freak out if they don't.
