Am I Pregnant?

Hi, I am 20 years old with no kids. My last period was November 6, 2009. Today is January14, 2010. I have taken two home pregnancy tests and both negative! I don't know what to do. I've made an appointment to get a blood test done but I ujust needed someome's opinion! THANKS

Hi, there are a few reasons you may be missing your period.  When I was in my early 20's I started a very overzealous exercise and diet regime and lost weight quickly then kept it off, i did not have a period for nearly 2 years! Have you recently lost a lot of weight? Other things that apparently can cause it (besides pregnancy) are extreme stress or anxiety.  Some other more unlikely causes I found when I was trying to figure out what was going on with me were uterine or cervical infections or certain chronic diseases and conditions such as lupus, and diabetes. Rarely, tumors of the pituitary gland or problems with the adrenal gland cause amenorrhea (loss of period).  If you were pregnant you would be around 10 weeks, you would expect a home pregnancy test to pick up the level of  HCG you had in your system by then, but as the above post expresses stranger things have happened!  I hope you get the outcome you are wanting.

hello im in the same boat as you my last period started on november 4 or 5 and i havnt had oen since then , 4 test all negative but i have every sign in the book of pregnancy im waiting for my insurance to get doen before i can go to the doctors. i have found on the internet ladie who didnt find out till the were 16 weeks pregant and only foud out through an ultra sound becaus ethey had negative urine and blood test but still felt preggo. my teacher at my medical assistant class ha dthe same thine when she was preggo  so its very possible to be pregnant and get negative results even on blood so when i go in i want an ultra sound also i will let you know what happens with me when ever i go (asap i hope) let me know what happens with you

Its possible but unlikely due to negative tests.what tests have you tried,the cheap tests are rubbish in my opion,maybe get yourself a good one.it could be your not ovulating,hence no period. good luck...
