First Pregnancy

Today I used The ClearBlue digi test strip n got to know I am pregnant since 3 weeks. I am not very sure whether it has a given correct result!! If I am pregnant can anyone help me regarding the exercises that i can do, One more question, Can I continue going to gym?? I suffer from Migraine, so if I lead a sedentary life it becomes more severe. Can I take Medicine for my headache?? As here it is very cold right now I cannot go out everyday for walk, what type of exercises can keep me active?? If anyone could also give some suggestions on my diet.. Looking forward for your answers.
Thank you.. :)

you can do lots of light exercise so if you visit a gym with swimming baths taking up swimming would really benifit you during pregnancy and also take the weight off :) you could use the treadmill at the gym but just take it easy, you should get lots of information about exercise during pregnancy when you visit your midwife. as for the headaches we are only aloud parocetomol any other medicines have to be talked through with a doctor just to make sure there safe but there is other ways to relieve a headache try drinking plenty of water i found that 4 head works for me you can buy it from a pharmacy and its just a pop up tube that you rub on your head it takes the pain away pretty quick :) congratulations

Congrats on your pregnancy.  And yes, it is absolutely fine to continue with your normal excercise routine.  You may find that as you get further along, you will have to keep it to light exercise, but that is between you and your Dr.

As for your migraines.  Countless women deal with pain during pregnancy and of course require it to be treated.  If you require anything stronger then tylenol for them, it is important to work with your Dr. to determine the best medication for your situation.  You do not have to suffer in pain and shouldn't.  Just make sure you don't self prescribe, and that your Dr. is aware of everything you are on.  Lot's of women who suffer chronic pain are able to manage their pain (and yes, some on narcotics) and have healthy babies.  Again, the key is to work with your Dr.  Congrats again, and all the best to you.

Just do the same exercises you did before you found you were pregnant. The only pain meds you can take during pregnancy are tylenol. Also just eat as healthy as you can. Goodluck
