With my first there were soo many ppl in the room my parents my sister my baby's godmother my hubbys mom his grandma and sister in law and just ppl that would come and go i was somewhat uncomfortable but wasnt sayinc anything (i was soo upset on the inside just wanted to yell at everyone lol) i was in sooo much pain for three days stuck at 8cm with contractions over the roof ended up having an emergency csection with just hubby in the room for the birth... I think its your choice don't worry about anyone getting hurt im sure they will understand i think just trying to be comfortable will get you through labor faster and easier

I am 29 weeks, when I have my baby i want my husband and my mom, no one else. If husband can't handle it then his mom will be there. There's no point in having a ton of people be in there. You will need to focus on getting the baby out. Don't worry about hurting the feelings. It's your baby, your body.

It was just my husband and I, I think other people wanted to come in the room they just knew better than to ask. The thing is, it's such a trying, emotional, crazy time in your life you need someone there who will support you completely. Anyone who will distract or potentially upset you should be kept out. It's up to you and what you feel comfortable with, but also check your hospitals policy because some have a limit of the amount of people you can have, some only allowing 1

It's just going to be me and husband. My mom wants to be in there but I don't want any negative energy plus I want it to be a special bonding moment as a family. Don't worry about hurting people's feelings, it's your baby. Your choice

There was a lot of people who wanted to be in the room when I had my first. I had my mom my boyfriend/father of the baby his mom and my daughters God mother. I wouldn't really care about hurting anyone's feelings just have the father of the baby in there if everyone wants to make a fuss you need to be comfortable and focused on having the baby. Hope this helps.
