Flu in Pregnancy

I have started a lot of FLU lately. My husband had some we were trying to avoid as much as we can so i wont catch it. however it did not work as he thought its finished and we had intercourse. since then i was feeling bit down with it but it was not so bad as today, Now my nose get block so badly that i cant go to sleep in the night time because of that i feel sick to my head in the day time. even if i go to doctor he wont do much will tell me to take paracetamol. i used slight vapour rub to open my nostrils in the night time however now i am getting bad head ache with it as well. its kind of becoming runny as well. have any of you got any remedy i can use to keep atleast my nostrils open so i can have a good sleep?

really never knew that. never gotten it done may be in child hood but i think since when i turned 11 i never been for jab at all. my whole fam got it done and i was the only one avoiding it as it cause fever and stuff. i am 6weeks and 1day according to my scan  can i still get it done??? they never told me anything like that. i am tend to see my midwife next week tuesday sometime :S thank you though. my doc is a jerk he just tells me off straight away if i ask for something :(...

I had flu jab yesterday, they wont give  you it, if ou are currently got cold or flu but would say make an appt,

Are you not entitled to a flu jab? Im in the UK and all pregnant women get to have a free flu jab. Im booked in to have mine next week

I had a bad cold last week, I went to boots, they do a home brand cold defence nasal spray that's safe to use in pregnancy and bf, its there own make i felt loads better after a couple of days, and as iys a cold defence you can use it as soon as you feel cold coming, its £5.99 that's what pharmacist said to take and paraceptomol, you can use brand stuff,  hope you feel better soon :) x
