UPDATE.. this pain has not gone away!

So as of last wednesday I started getting these pains in my lower belly/pelvic region and it was constant with no relief. I was on modified bedrest since Friday and I can't lift anything heavy, including my son! =(  I almost went to the ER on sat. but got some relief that night. On Sunday, it finally went away and I thought I was okay. So I made an appt. with my midwife today and an hour before my appt. the pain came back once again! I'm trying my best to stay off of my feet and that helps a lot. They suspected a UTI, but I took a test from walmart (you get three strips) and the first one said positive for the white blood cell and negative for the nitrite. (that meant something could be going on, or it could be nothing) The second one was completely negative and the third was the same as the first. I was so confused.  Anyone ever take these tests and get accurate results??

My midwife took a urine sample today and I should have the results back in a day or two. I am also being sent for an ultrasound on Wed. to rule out anything else that could be going on. I am nervous of course, but excited to see the baby again! I pray it's nothing at all. What is making me nervous is, I am not having the typical symptoms of a UTI. I am peeing more often (which could be the baby laying on my bladder) and the pain in my lower belly, but that's it. No burning, no spotting, and no unusual discharge, no fever, or anything.
The baby's heartrate is great and I've been feeling movement, so that's a good thing. But I'm still concerned. My midwife said if nothing shows up in the tests, then maybe it's just ligaments stretching and the uterus growing. She said in subsequent pregnancies, it can be more painful. Ugh!! I just want some answers. Anyone else been through this or felt like this?

Sorry this is so long. Thanks for listening!! I'll update when I get my results back!

Tabitha...thanks. I am starting to think it may be round ligament pain. I really hope it's nothing. I am just taking it easy until wed.
I thought about finding out...but I promised hubby I wouldn't!! BUT if something were to happen where I caught a glimpse...not on purpose though...lol...then it wouldn't be so bad. I'm dying to know...but I am trying to be VERY patient! So yes, this baby is suppose to be a suprise. =)

worriedbabe...thanks for that info. My midwife did say it can get worse with each pregnancy...so I am starting to think that is what it has to be. either that or maybe UTI. Today it's been off and on, which is better than constant!

I am so sorry you are going through this:( I still think it is round ligiment but thats just my opinion, I really hope its nothing serious. Last night I was sitting on the couch watching a movie with the kids and I must of moved wrong cause I pulled something. I tried to rub it out, switch postions, nothing worked. I almost started crying:( Dh looked at me and asked what was wronge and I snapped at him saying what do you think! Im pregnant!! I would love to see men go through this, lol:-) I happen to agree with your mid wife, the more kids I have the worst the pains of pregnancy get:(  I havent tried this because I really hate taking pills but have you tried tyenol?? Or maybe a heating pad on low??? I hope you feel better soon:)
