For ladies who have been induced!

I went to the OB today and she gave me my induction date (September 8th.) She checked me and I am also 2 cm, 50% effaced and feels that since I've been in preterm labor for a few weeks now, I may go before that induction date. My question is what can I do to prepare my body for induction? My doctor said that she would discuss some options next week with me at my appt, but I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions for me that I can safely start doing now.

We already have a huge stockpile of things for our son, toiletries, and cleaning supplies and Sunday we plan on getting a whole bunch of groceries to tide us over! So anything else besides those lol. :)

I'm 37+3 today, but I will be 39+2 on my induction date.

I would make a food menu based on the groceries you have, you wont sleep much and having a guide will help you from getting frustrated (you'll already know what you're going to make)
I would also baby proof the house (outlet covers, door knob covers, cabinet locks etc)
Go over breathing techniques for labor to help you stay calm
Wash babies clothes
Make sure your diaper bags are ready to go.

I have that done. I've been in what my doctor considers preterm labor for 3 weeks so I have all of that done and in the car for the past few weeks now.
