I am familiar w/ FF, but I always used everything. So I always went by my temps as well. You probably have to get through a full cycle before it can forecast your next period. It has no way to know how long your cycles will be until it kind of gets to know your body. You can also post a question on there for one of the FF staff to help you as well, but since you just started using FF, my guess would be that you have to get through that first full cycle before it can give you any really accurate information.
It usually takes 3 cycles with ff for it to really forecast periods and ovulation. I used ff for about a year and did the bbt and loved it...the site actually has people who are like community leaders that can answer these types of really specific questions about ff...good luck!
well i thought about the having to have a cycle or two before it could forecast....but that doens't explain why it has it forecasted for JULY (the 14th) but nothing for june...it forecasted ovulation for june and july ....oh well...
My guess is that it forecasted so far out because it has no idea since you just started using it. Once you start your period again and chart it, it will estimate your next period based on your last. It will keep stats of your longest/shortest cycles.
I just wanna know what the heck is going on with my body.. i thought for sure i was gonna start today...got REAL crampy...and I mean I could just FEEL it coming...nope...had to go #2 and had CM... WTF? I'm going on CD36. Guess it's just a waiting game...sigh...maybe i'll try one of those digital jobby do's...never used them before...
Hmm.....Have you been having regular cycles since you had Gabe?? I know it took me months to get regular after this last one. I had really long cycles there for a while but finally got back on track.
I did have fairly regular cycles...by that I mean they were the exact amoutn of days apart but I was starting either 2nd or 3rd week of my pill pack when I was taking them. I was on POP's and stopped taking them at the end of april. The same week I fell down the stairs and 2 days later had 3 days of mild brown colored bleeding...very light though....that was around May 1st. Then AF started on May 19th. And now here I am 36 days later and nothing...so either it's gonna be a loooong cycle or something else is going on.
I was on those pills too. But they made me bleed all the time, which is why I went w/ the NFP (Natural Family Planning) method, amoung other reasons. Anyway, when I first stopped taking the pills, I had long cycles there for a while. They were like 42 days. Each month got a little bit shorter until I finally got back to my 29/30 day cycles. My personal opinion is that your body is just trying to adjust to you being off the pills now and that might take some time.
