I was told at 34weeks my daughter on of the legs was shorter than other they had to do me another ultrasound to see if anything had change in 3 weeks so I got it at 37 weeks and they said same thing so I worry so much that I cried as well and praying for my daughter to be fine but she was born 5 weeks ago perfectly fine and healthy some doctors exaggerate and they are stupid bcuz babies legs on the womb aren't completely straight since they are inside they vent their legs and that's why doctor come to a conclusion about thinking something is wring don't worry I was told same exact story your baby will be okay  ..goodluck

You're small, I don't expect my baby (at 5 '7) to be as petite as yours :) it's nothing to worry about, have FUN at your baby shower, hope you get what you need !!

Its the same with my boy, his head and tummy are measuring more than his legs but sometimes bubs will just measure a little smaller in places c: nothing to worry majorly about unless the doctors are really concerned about the difference in measurements. But, as you've said they say they won't know until after they deliver then the best thing would be to not stress and remain positive! Your bub sounds perfectly healthy and her legs may have growth spurts after birth c:

I'm confuse how her other parts of the body are measuring right and her weight is right except her legs ?? Do u guys think that is normal ? I'm also scare bc the doctor told me that if something is wrong they won't until after delivery ! That's a long time to wait and see!! I'm trying to be positive but I just still can't stop crying my bf keeps telling me everything is ok I'm glad he's being supportive and positive n trying to make me feel better

My son's legs are 2-3weeks behind and doctors think its because he'll be short like me! I'm only 5'0 and his dad is 5'10 but was short as a child so they think his legs may catch up when he has his growth spurts as he gets older. Try not to worry so much!

Yes his little arms and legs were measuring 2 weeks shorter along with his weight. I don't think it's anything to worry badly about. This was at 36 weeks and my doctor didn't worry. I'm now due in just 2 days with him still measuring smaller and my doctor says it's fine I'm tiny so he's tiny. My fiancée is 5'7 and that didn't work to the baby's advantage at this point maybe as he grows? But think about it.. It'd be rough giving birth to a baby who's big or average size when your not average size lol. I don't think it's too much of a problem..

My ob has always said idnt expect for your babies to be huge. She was correct im 4'11. & my 1st weighed 6lbs & my last two weighed 5lbs. W.my last recent pregnancy ob was a lil concerned that thru-out my 9month she was weighing 4lbs but she was born @38wks&2days , she weighed 5lbs & 8oz @the hospital they had to check her sugar level for her weight but other that day shes a healthy baby & shes a month old now. Just relax & plus , its easier for you to push out a lil baby instead of a big baby lol.

Idk but I told him well the father is like 5'5 is it bc we're both short and he said it has to do with me not him so that confused me too I thought her genes came from bit of us not just me .... -__-

Have you noticed that jeans come in long,  average and short?  It's because people have long,  average or short legs compared to their overall size.  ;D

It's hard not to worry,   but legs that are a little shorter than average is usually just fine.

I wonder why the doctor said this has to do with you, not the baby's father.  ??

Try not to worry yourself to much! Especially if your doctor didn't seem to concerned. Your baby is just shorter then others, no problem with that. I was actually told the same thing. At my 36 week appointment my doctor told me my little one is smaller then other babies this far along. He was only measuring 5 pounds. But she told me the same thing, I'm small so she's not concerned that he's small as well. Good luck with everything!

you're short so she may just be short... if mama only 4'10 and i'm not sure if daddy is tall or short, height just may not be on her side. she's just itty bitty committee... don't worry mama.
