My husband's mother passed away about 8yrs ago. He is the oldest of 4 brothers and one sister. Over the years two of his little brothers were with their aunt until they got into trouble at school she couldn't take care of him anymore so one of his little brother well they both have different dad's, but one brother left her custody to his dad & grandparents. While the other stayed in her custody. My husband separated from the Army about a year ago. His little brother got expelled from high school so his grandparents told my husband that they didn't want to take care of him anymore. Too much trouble for them etc. So we took custody this past April. He's doing fine even though he's a freshman again, but he learned his lesson. My husband has that military discipline. Last week we took custody of another little brother. Same reason why his aunt didn't want to take care of him, but he didn't get expelled. Just got into trouble at school. His mom always told him to take care of his brothers & sister. The 2nd oldest brother has his own family, his sister is in college & 2nd youngest is with his dad. My husband & I have two little ones of our own. Son is 3, Daughter is 1 and expecting third baby in March. We currently live in a 2br apt, but we applied for a 4br house and this past Monday we got the call of being approved. I'm so excited and thankful. When we go into public some random strangers comment on my weight or age, like last week when we were house hunting the lady that showed us the house said "Wow you're so young to have 4 kids." My husband said oh no, their my little brothers then these two little ones are our kids. Then she says "oh I'm sorry, I see another on the way." Honestly I got a little uncomfortable when she said that. But I'm glad we took custody because it's a better for them especially school. We're doing great. Hope it stays that way. Being pregnant an all. I'm sure u ladies know what I mean. Lol
