Before I knew I was pregnant (and I didn't even know until I was 12 weeks) I was getting what I thought was a period but one day my dog just completely calmed down always laying his head on my lap and not leaving my side if someone came near me when we were outside he would growl and bark to get them to back off. And he used to be really hyper and chew things and it just all the sudden stopped after that.
My dog and my husband's dog have gotten very protective sometimes to the point where they won't allow ppl around me and will weg themselves between myself and my husband I think It's adorable and my husband loves the extra protection I have now lol
I have a cat and she never was really affectionate, shes can be nasty sometimes and now that im pregnant she would come and lie on my tummy at night time for a while and she never would off came close to you like that before! So i think animals can sense things:)
Yup my cat will not stop following me around. It's cute sometimes but it gets annoying, there is four other people in my house and he chooses to follow me around. He walks in between my legs I fear being tripped lol
I think is true!
But my dog gets jealous I have to stay away from him with every pregnancy its my 3rd baby and he won't let me get near him:'( but loves my 2 kids!
I rescued a kitten about a month and a half ago some one left him in a taped cardboard box by the dumpster and luckily I found him and took him in. At first he would never come near me or anyone like he was scared of us the vet said he showed signs of abuse. After about a week and a half he warmed up to us and he follows me everywhere, lays with me, naps with me, and waits for me by the door when I leave even if my husband stays behind. He nibbles and rough plays with everyone but he won't with me. I'm pretty sure he knows there's gonna be a baby soon (:
My dog started laying on my tummy (she only weighs 14lbs) and got more protective of me. She has been extra clingy the last few days. I am due on Sunday so I am thinking she may sense something is happening.
Cats can sense when your pregnant. They have 14 times better smelling then we do and they can smell the change in your hormones. My biggest question is if they can tell if your going to go into labor soon. My kitten is the only one who lays on me or with me. But last night one of the others just jumped up on me and laid down and he never lays on me. Then all of them stayed in the bedroom with me and have been following me all day today. Im 39 weeks today and hopeing she comes soon.
My 2 kittens there both constantly wanting to lay on me and put there arms around my belly and then my lil apparently can sense the cats or something and starts kickin and rollin and then my kittens will start purring really hard like they feel happy to feel my lil man kickin them
