Hey there i hope someone can help me with some information. I am 26 year old mother of two and i have had my tubes tied through essure procedure for about two years. I am getting married in Dec and me and future husband havent be safe seeing as i though i was sterilized. Today i am week late and iam never late i run like clockwork , so being as i am a MLT in medical i took it apon my self to run my my hcg level just for the hell of it. Well it came back 3362 which is a postive answer. Now i am calling my GYn in the morning to be seen what are the chances that is is a tubal pregnacy or is there any chance that this could be normal?

yes it is it is going tobe my fiance' frist child and my third we are very excited about everything to think that we were going to try invitro or having my tube reversed and i guess we dont have toknow just keeping the fingers crossed and praying to all goes well thanks again for all the well wishes and congrats u all have been sending
Congrats this is such an amazing story I'm so happy for you this is a good story to tell your baby when she/he gets older this pregnancy was definitly heaven sent!

You would be suprised what your body can do. Getting your tubes tied is not a definite solution. My mother had her tubes tied after her first three and they came undone on their own and then came my sister!

well i went to the doctor this mornign and everything is in the right place baby growing inside the uterus where it belongs. I am going back next monday and they are going to do another u/s to make sure that it is growing fine but there is no history of miscarriage in my family on either side and things fell just like my other two pregnacies so i will keep yall posted thanks for the listening ear and the well wishes

I agree, get a u/s to make sure its not a tubal and then have a happy, healthy 9 months1

I'd think by now with your levels that high they should see something on the U/S. Maybe get an appointment and get checked!

No pains is a good thing, I know the heartburn and bloating are horrible but they can be controlled :o) I am hoping and praying that everything is ok, please let us know what you find out and good luck! Hugs
no iam having no pain at all the only thing i have is bloating and heartburn which is normal for me . it was really a shock when i ran my blood work at the lab. i was having normal labs run and i addded that one just for the fun of it not thinking that it was a postive result. But i called the ansering service got my doctoer to call me back and i am heading into his office tomorrow to find out for sure hopefully things are normal thanks for answering back
yes i do want to have another baby and so does my fiance considering if this is not a tubal pregnacy then the only thing it does is make the wedding date move up so i can fit in my dress lol i will post back when i find out what it is

thanks for the info and the number i have shown is normal for a 4-6 week pregnacy which is where i would be at but i have an appointment in the morning anyway to go to gyn for a yearly visit. I called him and he said that unless i develop pain adn bleeding i should be alright for now. i will know more tomorrow
Your situation seems very unique and if I were you I'd even consider going to the ER because if this is tubal, I am under the impression that it can be life threatening. I'm also under the impression that abnormally high hcg levels are indicative of a molar pregnancy...according to the american pregnancy association. I also researched and found that it is possible to still get pregnant...its like a 2% chance AND 70% of those pregnancies are ectopic/tubal...not viable pregnancies. Good luck and maybe since you are in the medical profession, you can ask some of your colleagues what their professional opinions are because they might know more than us ttc ladies =)
Are you having any pains? I have heard of normal pregnancies where the mother to be has had their tubes tied. I hope everything is well. GL
