GBS Test/STD
Hi there. Im currently 31weeks pregnant and have my GBS test coming up. I realise GBS a std.
To be on the safe side i have been tested for all STDS besides trichmonias. I was wondering if i have to nag the docter to test for this aswell or if there was a infection such as this will it show up on my GBS swab test?

Trich usually smells really strong and you'd probably know if you have it! GBS is something your body naturally carries but sometimes it's present and other times it's not! If you test positive it's just in your body at that point of time and you'll have antibiotics during labor to assure no infection is transferred to the baby! I just tested positive but I actually got a bad GBS infection after my first born so I figured I'd test positive
