Gender Party!

My friend gave me a wonderful idea for a get together, a gender party! its a bit like a baby shower, only there is no presents involved. Its a great way for both sets of grandparents to meet, and for you and your loved ones to have some time together before things get too crazy. We decided that although we want to know the gender, we want to have it be our little secret for a while, and then when the party comes around, everyone will find out the gender when the cake is cut and the inside of the cake is pink or blue!

I'm going to have a gender reveal party but going to use a pinata. It will be in the shape of a question mark, and will be pink and blue, then we will either have pink candy or blue candy inside.

My friends had one where they had the us tech write the gender on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. She then took it to the baker and told them to make the inside pink or blue depending on what it said. Everyone had to where pink or blue to the party for whatever they thought it was and we all found out together. It was so cute getting to see their reaction...
