Its hard to handle though. Some people say I coddle my boys though because my disciplinary actions arent like theirs. But I dont want to spank my 5 yr old because he mimicks everything and it would be my luck that he mimick that in school!
The hubby part and giving blood might be difficult because he works M-F 7-4p. Sometimes later. So it would be hard for him to come in.
nd mine never took any blood from me... he juss asked wat my down syndrome results were from my reg dr... the first time i went in i did all the paper work nd all that nd asked bout both mine nd my daughters dad ethnic history nd all that... nd i was offered an amnio because of the bump but wen i went in at 16 weeks to do it the bump was gone so i refused it.. nd sincce then its juss been ultrasounds
i was referred to one at like 13 weeks... im 28w1d nd still goin to him... i started going cuz they found a bump behind my daughters neck which was called a cystic hygroma which did resolve itself by 16 weeks... thank god! im still seeing him tho... every time i go in they do an ultrasound nd get all the measurments on the baby nd everything to make sure everythings goin good... my next appt is the 26 fur an ultrasound on her heart.... im not exactly sure how that is done but i will see wednesday haha
Never seen one but I used to want to be one! Lol I'm not sure about your first appointment but generally you and hubby give some blood and they will test it for genetic markers, chromasomes, etc and give you an idea of how likely you are to have a child with/without disabilities. Good luck hun :) I grew up with my brother being borderline autistic/aspergers and my parents coddling him so he has very little discipline. I pretty much raised him so I can only imagine having 2. God doesn't give then to people who can't handle it though!
