I ate a bacon breakfast burrito from albertos before mine, but I had my test like 2hrs after I ate, and I passed my test :)
I was told to finish my drink within 5 min, and I finished it within 35 seconds lol, just down it, I had the orange one and it didn't taste as bad as I thought

I had to fast for mine, but it turned out okay.
Just drink it quick and cold if possible.

I was told to eat eggs for breakfast and nothing else. I ended up eating a couple carrots instead of eggs (the drink will make you nauseous if you have an empty stomach) and I passed.

The key is to stay relaxed I feel.  When I started to feel nauseous I would close my eyes and that helped ease it.

I haven't had to do it for pregnancy, yet, BUT I've had to drink that stuff when I was tested for diabetes before -- as far as that goes, all I can say is try not to think about it.. I finished drinking it & when they took the first blood from me, I said I think I'm going to puke.. the nurse said, "if you throw it up we'll have to start over.." I said, "nope, if I puke I'm going home!" lol -- it's just a lot of sweet stuff to drink after not eating/drinking anything sweet! I'm not looking forward to doing that again! ): but it's not horrible, I just have a weak stomach. good luck!!! ((:
