Getting induced

im getting induced on Monday . I'll be 40 weeks 1 day and I'm just wondering what it's like ???? Anybody ever gotten induced ?

I was just induced and it turned into c section if u are not going naturaly get the medicine as soon as possible it constantly shoots epidural in ur iv or atleast the hospital i went to did contractions are very intense but after ur hooked up i did not feel one contraction if you up the dosage. everything is going to be uncomfortable like them breaking ur water without medicine  ext.. cause its being forced and in the event u might need an emergency c section epidural will be already hooked up and ready to go so u dont have to go through all that stuff last minute dont go through more pain then u have to but if u go naturaly thats fine as well just know its intense but the out come is beautiful congratulations

Everyone has a different experience. For me it wasn't that bad I just got the epidural once I felt pain and was able to rest . Wasn't bad, pushing was the hard part lol

I was induced and hated it. But its different for everyone. The contractions come on harder and stronger because the medicine is forcing you to have them.

Way better than going into real labor! No pain no worries!! The best labor and delivery I had was being induced!!
