Will I have a big baby or go into labor early?

I just had an appointment 1/8/16. I'm 31weeks and 4 days along. My Dr said that I'm overweight (180lbs) and my fundal height is 32.5 weeks. She didn't tell me how much my bby weighs or mention the possibility of having her early... However I'm concerned?

I was at 192 lbs at my last appointment I swear idk how bc seriously my belly was small and didn't look that big but my body parts were very swollen Idk if it's bc I bc I had preeclampsia but at my last appointment my baby was measuring last 10 weeks behind  !!!!& it was the specialist who did the ultraound so  I was freaking out and she was born prefectly healthy measuring right on point for her gestational age weighting 6lbs 10 oz so don't worry measurements can be way off

Idk where you're from but where I'm from the Dr's really don't take you seriously and you have to be concerned about your health and any risks.

Well sometimes no concern is good because that could mean nothing's wrong

At 32 weeks they estimated my sons weight at 6 pounds which is the size of a new born baby. I had to get a growth ultrasound and at 36 weeks when they did the ultrasound he was measuring at 38+5 days and was 7.5 pounds I went over due 40+5 days and he weighted 9 & a half pounds. I only gained 36 pounds with my son and at birth I weighted 150 so nothing to worry about. Some babies are bigger then others and some are smaller. If your doctor shows no concern then don't stress about it.

I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow. I wish I could get another ultrasound... I'm just ready to have her already.

A 10lbs baby? Omg! I hope you have a safe and smooth delivery. I was told that the only certain way to determine the weight of my baby is through an ultrasound.

your fundal weight really is not the best indicator of size of the baby either! it really depends on how how baby is laying, if he is balled up he will measure larger, and if he drops to prepare for labor he will measure small.  I have been measuring 35 weeks since 35 weeks, I am currently 40 weeks, and having a 10lb baby.

Thanks for clarifying that. I really hate how my Dr leaves me wondering about so much...
