Baby Shopping

... the fact that I mention I wanted to start shopping for my baby asap ( am 18 +3days ) it really annoyed me that someone made the imput tht I wait until 7months just incase anything happen. Some peopl just think so negative as if their jealous of my pregnancy and want something to happen. Does anyone else get this kind of reaction from people? !?

I just think that is so dumb I wanna start getting everything now so I want be all rushed at the end. My baby is healthy n the Dr ain't say anything bad. So I wish ppl stop thinking something might happend to my little one .

Thats nasty of them! Ive also been very annoyed with some of the comments "advice" people have given me throughout this pregnancy.. everyone becomes an expert :-/

I personally think that the ones who are feeding negative comments or advice are jealous as pregnancy brings a little bundle of joy and some people just dont like being happy for others !

If u want to go shopping now then u should because before u know it you'll be heavily pregnant and might not have the energy to walk around all the shops so it might not be as enjoyable. Im only 4 weeks and can't wait to start baby shopping :)

I didnt start till i was 18 weeks when with my son i started at 3 months. Which is when most people do because they are at their end of their first trimester. As you get further along there is less of a chance of something "happening" because baby is getting stronger. Don't listen to them start buying little by little, bassinet if you're using one, and if you're getting your car seat and stroller get that too. I myself get the most expensive and stuff that i need right away, that way i have more time and money to get dipers, wipes, bath stuff and clothes. Good luck with your little one!

Omg wow, so sorry that someone made u feel that way. As soon as I am 12 weeks I am going shopping onlh because then the first trimester is done so my chances of anything happening are low. Dont worry what others say

My mum and Nan started shopping for my baby pretty much as soon as I told them and I was about 6w. My SO's mum started shopping when I was 12w and we haven't really had to get that much ourselves yet. I'm 18+4 and from other people we already have
Moses basket
Bouncing chair
Steriliser
Baby toiletry box with toiletries in
Travel system
Clothes
Onesies
Vests
Blankets

The only thing we have bought is a box of bottles so I can express when I will have to leave baby with someone else, and a couple of gender neutral onesies and outfits, all bought in 'upto 1 month' size as they will fit a 10lb baby and hubby was a little over 8lb born so don't want to waste money on NB size if we don't need it. Hope that helps

Everyones situation is different. Im 38w and i been buying stuff for my baby since i was 12wks. Whereas my best friend chooses to shop after her baby shower.  Everyone situation is different and i think shopping for the baby even if your just browsing is healthy and one of the best parts of being pregnant :)

We've been buying since we found out - all gender neutral stuff though. Diapers, wipes, powder, etc... I'm so sorry someone made such a terrible comment to you :-( Ignore such negativity and buy whatever you desire - although I recommend waiting on clothes until you know gender :-) I'm sure your littlemonster will be healthy as can be!! Congratulations and best of luck to you, momma!!

I went shopping the first day I found out what I was having, buy maybe 4-5 newborn oufits, if your baby comes out 7 pounds he or she will only last in newborns for a week. So stock up on 0-3 mnths & 3-6 months, but if your having a baby shower don't go over board with shopping lol I know I did. But you should buy diapers, wipes, mittens, and stuff your baby really needs (=

Start buying little by little, and pay no mind to the negativity, u will have a beautiful healthy baby. My situation was they kept telking me not to buy clothes til the baby shower, or not now cause I dont know how big the baby is, so I just bought 3-6 months and up, and a lil bit of newborn, they grow out of those quickly
