Group B Strep

Well i found out today that I'm positive....i was hoping to be one of the lucky ones to not have it, but of course i get it. So now I'll be on antibiotics when i go into labor. Anyone have their kids with this? And if so, was everything ok?

Congrats becca! Thanks for the words of advice ladies. I'm just about 37 weeks in two days so I'm guessing I have a little more time left. I've been having contractions too but nothing painful yet.

I just had my baby and they like to give you four hours of the antibiotics. I only got one bag by the time I delivered but I also came in at 4cm and 100% effaced. They said that if some people don't get the 4 hours it's not the end of the world because your pediatrician will give the baby medication to prevent it :)

They sent my paperwork to the hospital today and they gave me an extra copy. This is my first child so I want her to be very healthy.
