HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL.... UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!!!! let me just tell you right now how beautiful my little angel boy is!!!!!!! we came home today but i was out of pain medication until just a little while ago so i haven't been comfortable enough to try and sit at the computer to update.
ok... lets se... we FINALLY we were able to choose his name on sunday morning when the lady came in to do the birth record information! his name is Nolan Charles Kennedy!
he was born at 7:53am on friday morning. he weighed 6lbs 14.6oz and was 19"long. he looked a lot bigger than that when he came out and i seriously thought he was going to be our first 8lb baby... but oh well!
my c-section took longer than usual b/c my doc said that there was adhesions he had to get rid of from scar tissue and he had to keep stopping to blot the blood. he said that i would be more sore afterwards b/c of the extra bleeding (and yes, i am) but i'm dealing!
nolan had some fluid in his lungs that they took care of and also had some breathing difficulties and needed some oxygen... but he's completely fine! i was told that c-section babies and boys are more suseptible (sp?) to things like that.
we're home and i am so happy that our family is complete now... (i got my tubes tied). i can't wait until my recovery time is over so i can pick up my girls and be normal again!!! :)
i will post pics as soon as dh shows me how on our computer!

Wow, I love the pics. Congrats. He looks so chubby on the pic for only weighing over 6 lb! Great job.
phokisonyou- don't tel me that, lol!!!!!!!!!!!! that's actually why i keep telling dh he needs to get a vasectomy also. he doesn't understand why.... men!!!

congratulations but never say never about the tubes being tied.. my mom had hers tied and look at me haha! I'm living proof that it CAN happen although your tubes are tied (microscopic hole in her left tube)

It is true that c-section babies have a higher tendancy for fluid in the lungs. During a vaginal delivery the pressure of the baby being squeezed through the birth canal helps to squeez the fluid out of the lungs...but during a c-section that pressure isn't there.
I'm glad all is well and you have your little man home with you...good luck with a speedy recovery...I hope you're back to feeling like yourself in no time.

Congratz Kennedy I am so happy for you. Unfourtionaly I am still hanging around. I think I am the last of the June mommies... My doctor decided he isnt going to induce until Thursday because it is more convienent for him, but as long as I get to go home on my birthday or before I will be okay... I am so happy for you. Let us know when the pics are posted.

he passed w/ flying colors!!!! :) he was so good and only cried once for like 3 minutes! so he does not have hyperinsulinism!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!
