Congrats! I WILL be trying this method in a few weeks!! (:
Congrats glad to hear it worked for you :) I may try it if I go over the 40 weeks because I really don't want to be induced but my baby girl still has some time to go since I'm only 34 weeks hopefully she will come naturally! :)
Fingers crossed!
Yeeee!!! Congratulations!!!
Okay so I'm basically just gonna do a recap on everything.
On Dec 15th I drank my first mix of whole milk and 100% Ora he juice. It gave me severe cramping and pressure.
On the 16th I had a doctors appointment. My midwife checked my cervix and said that I am definitely thinned out, but was only half a centimeter dilated. So that night I mixed my second cup of milk and oj. That night I woke up at twelve with severe contractions and pressure. I waddled to the bathroom and sat on the toilet because I felt like I had to push. Of course I could t manage to squeeze anything out so I got in the shower to try and relieve the pain. I got out of the shower around 12:30 and waddled back to my room where the pain became so unbearable. I say on the bed and basically screamed and cried. My boyfriend shot up and we immediately called an ambulance. It picked me and my boyfriend up at 12:45am or so, and brought us to the hospital by 1am.
The doctor checked me and I was dilated to 4cm. Of course they admitted me. They gave me my epidural not even five minutes later because the anesthesiologist heard me screaming down the halls so immediately came to my room.
They checked me not even 40 minutes later and I was dilated to an 8! Unfortunately for me, by the time I was dilated to a 10, my epidural wore off, and no matter how many times I hit the button it didn't do anything for me. So I ended up having my baby all naturally.
I gave birth at 3:17pm that day to a healthy baby girl weighing 7lbs 15oz!
I'm still at the hospital waiting to be released to go home.
Hey, tell us more about what happened when u have chance.
