Having my baby tomorrow and FREAKING out!!!

oh man....so the day I have been waiting for is just about hear.  I am every emotion rolled into one, and I am a ball of nerves, lol.  I just can't wait till she is out and I know she is OK.  I am getting so nervous though.  I love these message boards, but sometimes i think they can be a double edged sword to where you see things that make you worry that you wouldn't have really thought of yourself, hahaha.  On the Sept mommies board someone just gave birth to a boy...they were told it was a girl.  I was told I am having girl on two separate occasions from 2 different ultrasounds, but I am afraid it was wrong.  It looks like pepto bismol through up in my house(so much pink), what am I going to do if it is a boy? he will have to be very confused for a while I guess, lol.  And then on a more serious note, I have seen a few mommies on here who have recently had their babies, and they have had breathing problems and so on.  With my last DS he had to stay in the nursery for 24 hours because of breathing problems, and I'm afraid its going to be worse for this one..not only will she be born via c-section(which doesn't get any fluid out of their lungs like labor and pushing does) I have Gestational Diabetes which can cause breathing problems at birth..I just wish I could relax and enjoy my last day pregnant, but I can't stop worrying!!!  Sorry for the rant, thanks for letting me get it all out!

thank you all so much for all the well wishes.....geez I am so nervous, i have butterflies like you wouldnt believe!!!!  I can't wait...unfortunatly my hospital doesnt have internet access, but as soon as I get home I will update and post pics!!!!  Thank you to everyone who has answered questions and gave support throughout this process!!!

The reason you see so much anguish and problems on message boards is because most women with nothing to worry about don't necessarily NEED to come onto medical message boards. So don't feel that something will be wrong with your little girl!

And boy-oh-boy can I relate on worrying if my girl would be a boy! I have had 2 girls and I was sooooooo nervous that they'd be born with little pee-wees!

I'm so excited for us both! I am being induced tomorrow at 6am!!! Ah the nerves are defiantly getting worse as the night goes on. I'm not gonna sleep a wink tonight!

enjoy your last day of your pregnancy.... take photos if you haven't already... focus on having a healthy baby rather than boy or girl... im sure you will love either and your shopping can be replaced if a little surprise boy turned up which is less likely.  Remember very pregnancy is so different and all you can do is remain positive and i am sure all will go fine for you... best of luck.. keep us posted

i think its normal to be freaked out in the last stretch, i know ive been freaked out for like half a month now, lol if my little girl turns out to be a boy, i wouldnt even have a name! just go with the flow and take a lot of deep breaths... you probably wont get any less nervous till your holding her in your arms, so i wont say stay calm lol!
just flow with it best you can and soon it will be time and youll be to busy to be nervous anymore=)

oohhh one more day.. i'm so excited for you!  and yes you sure did make me nervous too!  i was told i'm having a girl and have bought all girl stuff!  i'm having another u/s tom and it will be 4d.. hopefully it's 100% clear!  i'm sure you will be fine though!  i heard it's rare that they predict wrong!  have a nice restful day and prepare for the restless nights ahead!!  good luck!

"confusion" for an infant, is everything lol...if it turns into a boy lol, you'll have a couple months to make sure it's blue by the time he REALLY starts focusing haha....

you have one more day! oh how exciting!  and don't stress, it's the last thing you need! just concentrate on how happy you'll be when you have HER in your arms!!!  just double check the house, to keep busy...are your things packed? make sure!  does the mobile have batteries, or does the windie thingy work? is the pack-n-play/crib REALLY accessible from your side of the bed?(df wants ours on HIS side lol).....EAT!!!  go see if the way you've arranged her room(clothes, diapers etc), are readily accessable, and will the locations be hard for you to reach when you get home? make sure you have all the numbers and emails of those who you want to contact 1st.....if you get real bored, dust....lol, that's 1 thing i can def do no matter how much i hurt or feel cr@ppy, cos there's really nothing to do but run my hand across stuff lol....if there's anything in her baby book you haven't written yet, do it! mine has a spot for political leaders, costs of things(house, car, gas etc).....that stuff can be written down now, esp since you're having her tomorrow(and not to start a political debate, but it's not likely we'll get lucky enough, that Bush won't be president tomorrow)....

lol, i'm normally NEVER so anal about stuff like that, but yesterdy after i did grocery shopping, i rearranged my kitchen, so everything was at arms reach, so i won't have to bend or be on tip-toes lol....and the babies stuff, well that's my tackle today-to see if everything can be reached w/o bending or stretching, JIC i have to have a c-section.....man i NEVER prepare anything lol.....i'm going nuts.....i feel for you, as much as i can lol.....

like they say all pregnancy's are different. if it makes you feel better when i had my first baby i was told i was having a girl and i had a boy and with my last baby i was told i was having a girl on two seperate u/s and guess what i had a girl!!!! try not to worry about this one having a breathing problem like your last one because i worried myself sick with my second pregnancy because i had my first one at 25 weeks and he stayed in the NICU for 3 1/2 months but i had Alaina 6days early and that was because i was induced because i was afraid i wouldn't make it to the hospital where i planned to have her. i am now pregnant with my 3rd baby and i have decide to just take it day by day instead of worring so much!! good luck tomorrow and everthing will be great you will be back at home with that baby girl before you know it!!!!
