am embarrassed

Am embarrassed :(
My husband and I am TTC (did not tell anyone at work or to extended family),  Naturally I ordered Ovulation test strips.
Since most of the day I'll be at work, so I had them shipped to my workplace.
Receiving person opened the box (perhaps w/o knowing tht it was my personal item).  I stepped out for a min and by the time I came back the box (with no packaging on to hide its face) was sitting on my chair.
I am the only girl in this room with 7 other guys...
Who knows what announcement tht receiving guy made before elaving tht box on my chair.....
Do yoou guys think now everyone in teh company would know that I am 'Trying'?

I shouldnt be but I am embarrassed :(

(In the retrospect, I should have informed the receiving guy about my personal item)

I do agree though that guys being guys probably had NO CLUE what they were.  I can only imagine the stupid things rolling around in their testosterone juiced brains.

Well Frankly its none of their business and if anyone were to bring it up I would say something along the lines of "Maybe we're trying or maybe we're trying to prevent, why?  Are you jealous?" and leave it a lone

Yeah but he should not have went and told your business like that.  No matter what he saw it's your decision.  He violated your privacy.  You will tell people when you are ready and that was not right for him to say anything.  Sorry that it happened to you.  This should be an exciting time not one of embarrassment.  Good luck with TTC.

I'd be embarrassed if that happened to me, too!  I've never used OPKs, and my husband actually had never even heard of them before until we were watching TV and saw a commercial for some recently.  It's quite possible that the guys don't even know what they are or what they're for! ;-)

I would say that they probably had no idea what the strips were for (even if it said OVULATION TEST STRIPS in huge letters the guys probably either didn't think anything of it or just were clueless...for all they know you could be monitoring it for medical reasons, nothing to do with pregnancy)...and if they did, they probably had one of two reactions: 1, more embarrassed than you....glad to not be a woman themselves...lol...or 2, jealous that you'll be having sex quite regularly for the foreseeable future.

LOL I wouldn't let it bother me and if they say something you could always just be like "Oh, were you snooping around in my private package? Shame shame" and make it a joke....but I don't think it's gonna matter and I truly doubt that they're standing around the water cooler chatting about it, being men, but you would know them better than I do.

I would just try to let it go and not be embarrassed. I would also work on looking smug all the time, hehe :).
