Go to the ER. If it is a blood clot, that can be pretty serious. Best to get it checked out ASAP.
"Swelling in only one leg — especially if it's accompanied by pain or tenderness in the calf or thigh — could indicate a blood clot or other underlying condition. Both conditions warrant prompt evaluation and treatment."
That's what I found on the internet, so as the poster above said, you should call your doctor ASAP, or better yet, go to the ER.
As a professional in the medical field, the first thing that flashes in my head is deep vein thrombosis, big words for blood clot!!! Please see a doctor immediately! Do not wait. Seriously. Blod clots in the legs an happen during pregnancy. And you do not want that thing to dislodge! It can go to your lungs or brain, both very serious conditions. Do not put heat on it. Please call the doc or a nurse tonight.
No. That much swelling is not normal during pregnancy. I'd suggest seeing a doctor.
I dont think that much swelling is normal. Did something possibly bite or sting you?
