Zantac! Its been a lifesaver!
Listen to your body..try to avoid foods that cause heartburn for you.
I use to drink milk also but after doing some research I found out milk is acidic and actually makes it worse. Taking zantac and tums. Still have severe heartburn
At the beginning of my pregnancy I drank cold milk to help. I also watched what I ate to ensure I didn't eat foods that made it worse. I eventually got to the point where I had to have wintergreen tums. I've heard of a lot of ladies getting great relief with Zantac. Make sure your are hydrated and don't lay down after you eat. Hope it gets better! :)
Yea cold milk works wonders
Try tums if that dnt work I'll ask doctor for something stronger
Zantac gives almost all day relief - and cold milk is enough to get me by when I forget to take it in time
I also take zantac 150, I still get heart burn though. I also heard put a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water and it helps, I haven't tried it yet myself
My OB prescribed me Zantac 150 mg twice a day as needed.
My Midwife gave me a list of medications that are safe for the baby, but that help heartburn- Maalox, Mylanta, Tums (only 250mg/day), Rolaids, Red Raspberry Capsules (in health food stores), & chewing gum. I hope that helps!!
